PLMA's "World of Private Label" Trade Show will replace the edition originally scheduled for last May and postponed amid government restrictions - including limiting public gatherings and travel - put in place to fight the coronavirus pandemic.
According to the organizers, this year's theme, "Life is good for private labels", is particularly suited to the current situation. The share of private labels is around 40% (sometimes more) in eight European countries, and in a context of major disruption in purchasing and increased tension on supply chains, competition is fierce. But the opportunities for product creation and business development remain extraordinary. Indeed, consumers, who want quality products at the best price, will continue to turn to distributors as a priority in this unprecedented situation.
